Coal Mining

The Sebakis mine is a 3,500 ha. site located to the north of Tarakan, Kalimantan, with a 90km barging distance from jetty to private Tarakan anchorage.

Mining started in 2011 and approximately coal is hauled each month to the 20 ha. stockpile and stock ROM area, processing plant and jetty on the Sebakis river.

The coal grade is bituminous with GAR 6,500. Inter-seam blending is undertaken at the processing plant to obtain the blending ratio contracted.
