J&Y Transhipment is part of the Pipit Group and responsible for all transhipment activities.
Fleets of 180-ft to 300-ft barges and tugs transfer the coal and andesite from the Group’s jetties to port facilities on the coast or to designated offshore loading anchorages. The draft at all jetties is sufficient to cope with all-year, all-weather operations, and 1,000-ton per hour loading conveyors are used to transfer the coal to the barges.
At the offshore loading anchorages, a 50-ton capacity floating crane is available to undertake loading operations from barge to vessel safely.
In addition, there are two tankers to ship Crude Palm Oil from the plantations.
